A delegation consisting of foreign media journalists from 35 countries visits Mengniu’s Beijing Factory On the afternoon of October 17, the China International Press Communication Center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs organized a delegation consisting of more than 40 media journalists from 35 countries, including Nigeria, South Africa, Senegal, Algeria, Egypt, Kuwait, Tunisia, etc. to visit the Mengniu’s factory in Tongzhou, Beijing, allowing them to have an in-depth understanding of Mengniu’s development achievements. Liu Yutong, Counsellor of the Department of Press, Communication and Public Diplomacy, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, attended the event, accompanied by relevant officials from the Foreign Affairs Office of the People’s Government of Beijing Municipality.

    Mengniu Group was founded in 1999 on the prairie of Inner Mongolia. After 25 years of rapid development, it ranks among the top 9 global dairy companies. At present, Mengniu has exported its products to 14 countries and regions, and invested and constructed the first overseas liquid milk production base of Chinese dairy industry, Mengniu Indonesia factory, in Indonesia. During the interactive communication session, foreign media journalists were enthusiastic about asking questions, and they exchanged ideas on Mengniu’s overseas business, intelligent manufacturing, and other achievements. Souleymane Diam SY, a journalist from Senegalese newspaper Le Soleil, expressed admiration for the high-quality development of Mengniu. In an interactive exchange, he said that Africa has a very extensive development space, Mengniu is welcome to Africa and they hope to enjoy dairy products from China in Africa as well. 

    During the event, foreign media journalists paid a thorough visit to the production line of the factory in Tongzhou, Beijing, intuitively experienced the entire production process of Mengniu products, and gained a detailed understanding of Mengniu’s enterprise development history, main product layout, product research & development, and quality management as well as the development achievements of intelligent manufacturing. At the same time, foreign media journalists also tasted various products of Mengniu, such as milk, yogurt, probiotic drinks, ice cream, etc., and though highly of Mengniu’s products. In the group photo session, international media journalists said loudly “I love Mengniu” and enthusiastically expressed their love for the Mengniu brand and products. Upon conclusion of this visit vent, foreign media journalists indicated that, through this event, they truly witnessed the production process of products, experienced and tasted various products, and gained a deeper understanding of Mengniu and the development achievements of China’s dairy industry, and they will enable more global consumers to fall in love with Mengniu through their coverage.
